Do You Ever Wonder…

“How do I get from here to there?”

“When will I move beyond this difficult circumstance?”

          or ever ask yourself

“Why am I in this situation, this job, this relationship…”

I know I have.  These are questions that we all  ask at one point or another.  Sometimes, we just need someone who can help us by giving us a Byrd’s Eye View of our situation.  This higher view is one that many can’t see on their own.

I am sure you have heard the phrase, “Can’t see the forest for the trees.” This is an expression used of someone who is too involved in the details of problem to look at the situation as a whole.  When we are “knee-deep” in a situation, it is very difficult to hone in on a given situation.  It’s not until we do that we are able to consider alternate perspectives.

This is Where Byrd’s Eye View Comes In

There is one statement I make to many people,

“You don’t have a problem, you just have a decision to make.”

Many are quite surprised when they realize that one decision can substantially alter their view of a particular situation. That one view  can make the difference between wallowing in despair over a particular situation, or taking the steps necessary to change the outcome.

Unfortunately, focusing on the trees could be preventing you from gaining a clear view of the forest…your situation.  Once you are willing to take A Byrd’s Eye View of your life, you will realize that the reason for many of your problems and challenges are due to a lack of healthy boundaries.

Byrd's Eye View

My Compelling Story

Many people are struggling to make sense of where they are.  So often they are unaware of the triggers that keep them from moving along the path that God has charted for them.  A lack of proper boundaries prevents us from moving beyond where we are. Because of this lack, we stay in bondage far too long, unable to handle those situations that cause us pain and frustration.

Growing up, I never knew what boundaries were.  I didn’t have an example to follow.  I grew up in an extremely dysfunctional household with a mother and two sisters.  The generational pattern of codependency prevented me from even knowing what proper boundaries were — my ideas were all skewed.  As a result, I tried desperately  to find love in all the wrong places’ all because I placed a low value on myself.  Consequently, I didn’t understand who I was, or who’s I was.

Your Past Experience Can Dictate Your Future,

But Not the Way You May Think.

Many people fail to live up to their God-given potential because they allow their past experiences to prevent them on becomingfrom moving forward.

When you have someone helping you to take a Byrd’s Eye View of your life, you unveil the intricate those details–your experiences that have equipped you to be all that God has called you to be.

My work in uncovering the reasons for my dysfunctional childhood has led me to gain a true understanding of why I went through my experiences and what I am able to do because of them.

Through God’s Grace

God has revealed to me my purpose and shown me how my life’s trials and experiences have positioned me to help others as a result of the victories I have experienced.

A Byrd's Eye ViewHe has given me a strong sense of alternate perspective views. He has given me so many gifts that allow me to view things differently once I dig deeper.  But one has to be willing to “go there” no matter how painful it can be, knowing that the work will only help you to get through the pain and move you over to the other side of it.

It REALLY matters WHO you confide in and how.
